BSK Marine: Redefining Powerboating

SKIPPER POWERBOATS is a Greek shipyard dedicated to designing and building high-performance luxury RIBs that combine advanced engineering with timeless aesthetics.

Founded in 2015 by Alexandros and George Stavroulakis, two brothers from Crete with a shared vision and relentless determination, the brand began with one idea — to create boats that don’t just look fast, but are fast, safe, and seaworthy in any condition.

Only a year after its founding, SKIPPER achieved international recognition with a Red Dot Design Award, becoming the only Greek boat and just the second worldwide to receive this distinction. This milestone marked the beginning of a new chapter for Greek craftsmanship and marine innovation.

Since then, SKIPPER has evolved into a respected name in the global boating industry. Every model is built on the proprietary 4-Step Hull, engineered for stability, efficiency, and outstanding performance. Each detail – from the hydrodynamics to the ergonomics – reflects our philosophy of no compromises in design or quality.

With a 3,000 m² facility in Koropi, Athens, and a growing team of over 65 skilled professionals, SKIPPER produces around 40–50 boats per year, maintaining limited production to ensure the highest quality standards.

Today, SKIPPER POWERBOATS are sold in over 15 countries, with 95% of production exported worldwide. Our boats have earned the trust of discerning owners, professional captains, and performance enthusiasts — people who value engineering integrity, reliability, and the confidence that comes from a hull that truly works.

What started as a small idea in Greece has become an international brand recognized for innovation, craftsmanship, and authentic performance.

At BSK Marine, our philosophy revolves around four core values: high performance, absolute safety, exceptional seaworthiness, and maximum efficiency. Every SKIPPER POWERBOAT is handcrafted by our skilled in-house team, from hull design to the finest teak deck detail.

Using only premium materials—such as multi-directional fibers, epoxy resins, and ORCA® tube fabrics—we create vessels that are as durable as they are elegant. Our advanced vacuum infusion techniques and carbon fiber components ensure every boat is built light, strong, and ready to perform.

Research & Development.

Innovation Through Engineering
Our in-house R&D department is the driving force behind every SKIPPER model. From hydrodynamic simulations using CFD to full-scale sea trials, we leave nothing to chance.

We continually invest in robotics, CNC machinery, and sustainable materials to push boundaries. By partnering with key suppliers and rigorously testing new technologies, we deliver boats that are not only beautiful—but future-ready.

Over the years, our shipyard has developed a production model that is unmatched in the pleasure boating sector.

The way we do it:

The research and development process begins with the meticulous design of the boat’s hull. It is then subjected to hydrostatic analysis using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) on a computer and tested in a towing tank with a scale model. The final validation of the hull’s design takes place at sea with a full-scale prototype vessel. Subsequently, our skilled team completes the projects for various decks for each hull, as well as the boat’s accessories, including wallpapers and stainless steel parts. Meticulous plans for decks, equipment, and components are finalized to ensure a harmonious and exceptional final product.

Designing a Skipper Boat is a new challenge for him every time.

A perfect boat is derived from a careful project which is studied in every detail before the construction. He sets the high standards from the designing procedure to the final boat and makes Skipper boats able to cover the needs of the most demanding users.

Having studied naval architecture and industrial design and also being working in the boat industry from an early age, he knows each detail and every step of the boat construction from the inside to the outside and has the ability to make a supreme design from inside out.

Designing the construction guidelines to make people from each specialty, working together in a harmonic way ensures to ensure an ultra-high quality construction meeting the beautiful design, all results in a premium boat.

Every SKIPPER POWERBOAT is built in our dedicated facility in Athens, Greece, where attention to detail and precision craftsmanship guide every step of the process.
We follow strict manufacturing standards, applying proven techniques and carefully selected materials to ensure consistency, performance, and quality across all models.
Our experienced team works closely with our R&D department to implement smart production methods that reflect our commitment to continuous improvement and excellence on the water.

Warranty.

SKIPPER POWERBOATS BOATS ARE WARRANTED TO BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP FOR THE PERIOD DESCRIBED BELOW.

WARRANTY PERIOD
2-year limited warranty on hull and deck.

BSK MARINE warrants to the owner that for a period of two (2) years from the date of delivery to the first retail purchaser, the hull and deck – including stringers, bulkheads, engine mounts, transom and deck to hull joints – of a new SKIPPER POWERBOAT will be free from structural defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, excluding racing and commercial activities.
